Contemporary life has always affected my art.

The ideas for my work are from observations I have made of my daily life, my family, people I have known, books I have read, movies that I have seen and television I have watched.

The events that I have experienced during my life have been, as with most peoples' lives, both mundane and of great importance.

My reflections on these events have provided me with an inexhaustible source of ideas for my work.

The materials and technical processes used to create my pictures constantly change in order to express my ideas.
